'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Relatives of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek Information After Alpine Blaze

The families of teenagers missing after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Swiss alpine town are confronting an excruciating period of uncertainty for confirmed information and requesting any details about their children via social media.

The blaze engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Confirmed images show the ceiling igniting as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have warned that it could take days if not weeks to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which killed four dozen individuals and injured another scores more. A spokesperson noted on Friday that the majority of the injured have been identified, with work still underway to locate the final individuals.
