The families of teenagers missing after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Swiss alpine town are confronting an excruciating period of uncertainty for confirmed information and requesting any details about their children via social media.

The blaze engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Confirmed images show the ceiling igniting as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have warned that it could take days if not weeks to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which killed four dozen individuals and injured another scores more. A spokesperson noted on Friday that the majority of the injured have been identified, with work still underway to locate the final individuals.

In the waiting period, loved ones have been using online platforms to plead for information about their loved ones who were in attendance that night.

Appeals for the Missing

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his mother.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is deceased, without directly referencing the fire, paying tribute to a "talented young man who represented dedication and true sportsmanship."

His father, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around midnight. An official spokesperson has stated that a official announcement of his death is still pending.

Further Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His parent explained that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and found himself at the venue.
